Iringal near Kozhikode is famous as Crafts Village. It is specially promoted by the Kerala State Department of Tourism too. These are made out of coir, bamboo, coconut shells and leaves, banana fibre, and even husk! The Kunjali Marakkar Museum nearby is dedicated to the medieval hero.
